Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I order a perfetto?

A: Everything regarding choosing, personalizing and ordering a perfetto is explained in this section.

Q: Is there a mouthpiece included in the price of a perfetto?

A: No. Mouthpieces are sold separately. See the Mouthpieces section.

Q: Will my cornetto mouthpiece fit a Perfetto?

A: Yes. Unless you use a very unusual cornetto mouthpiece it will fit and play with a perfetto.

Q: How long will it take for my order to be ready?

A: Orders usually ship within 2 months.

Q: Do you have instruments ready to sell and ship?

A: One of the most beautiful features of 3D-print is that everything can be personalised. That also allows for many models and options instead of only a few. Having a stock of instruments ready to ship would therefore play against the best part of 3D-print. So no, we don’t have any sort of stock and quickly produce personalised instruments at request instead.

Q: How can I pay for an order?

A: We receive payments through bank transfer (to Germany or Switzerland) or through Paypal (www.paypal.me/RicardoSimian). In case of Paypal payment a small transaction fee must be added to the transfered money. That commission changes according to the country from which the order is placed and we can calculate it each time for you (for an order placed from most european countries or the US the transaction fee will be 3,9% of the transfereed amount plus €0,35).

Q: Will I be able to play at 415 Hz. by opening the tuning joint on a 440 Hz. instrument?

A: No. The tuning joint allows for small pitch corrections up to a quarter of a tone, not a semitone.

Q: How much are the shipping costs to my country going to be?

A: That depends on many factors (where do you live, how big will be the box required for your shipment and how much will it weight). We look for the best delivery option within the Swiss Post. A package large enough to carry a single perfetto costs CHF 19.00 within Europe and CHF 24.00 anywhere else in the world.

Additional local custom charges change from country to country and apparently also from day to day. We are unable to provide any information regarding this. All local custom charges are to be paid by the customer and are not included in our prices.

Q: Can I change an order once placed? Which are your terms and conditions?

A: See terms and conditions.
